Joint Housing Project - Tigre
The architectural project is located in the town of Tigre, Buenos Aires, specifically at the corner of Pirovano and Saldías streets. It aims to integrate with the surroundings and promote social interaction, taking advantage of the natural richness of the area.
The design is divided into two strips that generate a central public entrance, fostering interaction among residents and users of the space. These strips intertwine with green spaces, creating a sense of connection with Tigre's natural environment.
It proposes two staggered architectural volumes, with a distinctive brick aesthetic that integrates with the urban landscape. Contrasting materials differentiate spaces and functions: the public sector is clad in exposed red brick, while the private areas are built with exposed white brick. This distinction not only adds a unique visual character to the ensemble but also reflects the diversity of functions and activities taking place within the project. Its energy efficiency was considered in the design, such as maximizing natural lighting and cross ventilation.
