INTRO//In this personal project, I've set my goals to learn interior 3D interior design by using Maxon Cinema 4D and VrayforC4D. As I've no foundation in interior design, I have to learn the whole thing from scratch and from online sources. With my experience in exhibition, event and retail display design, it really helps me in terms of space management and real-life dimensions in 3D modelling. For this project, I will try to model a total of five different area which is an entry room, a home office, bathroom, bedroom and an outdoor deck. The reason why I've chosen these spaces is because it will help me learn different types of lighting and rendering alongside with modeling.
FINAL RENDER//001 | Entry Room
RENDER TEST//As this is my first time rendering interior scene with Vray, there are a total of 17 render tests that was done before I got my final renderings. With the guidance of some online tutorials, I've managed to finalized my rendering. I've learnt multiple things during each rendering and got to understand more on how Vray renderings work.
COMPARISON//Here is the side by side image of my rendering (right) and my reference image (left) which can be found in the link below. I personally chose the image because of it's simplicity and clean overall feel. As I'm confident in my modelling skills, I've managed to model the entry room as close as possible to the reference in order to mimic it.
